This weekend, Jake was home and got to rest in between a busy last week of interviews and a busy upcoming week of interviews.
We tried a new OKC restaurant on Saturday that has been on our list for a long time, Guyutes. If you go visit there, I highly recommend the Tequila SunFryz. They are waffle fries loaded with tequila queso, pulled pork, a sunny side up egg and cilantro crema. I am a huge fan of loaded fries, but don’t usually splurge on them. Let me tell you, they were worth every calorie! We also split a “Return of the Mac Burger,” which is basically a burger topped with macaroni and cheese and onion rings. If you’re in the mood for something unique but delicious, this is the place for you.
After dinner, we ran to Home Depot instead of attending the Halloween party we were invited to. On Friday, I decided to move some furniture into the guest room from the office, so I needed some brighter lights for the guest room. It’s funny how things change the older you get!
I wore this outfit to dinner and fully intended to save this blog post for later. I noticed the skirt was in low supply in most sizes, so I had to share it before it sold out. Make sure to grab it before it’s gone! I can absolutely picture it being perfect to go into the holiday season. I did go up in size because it runs small in the waist. I added some sock booties and a moto jacket, which gave it an edgy look and dressed it down. I loved this pleated midi skirt so much I even twirled at the end.
