Trending: The Bodysuit

IMG_7933IMG_7973IMG_7947IMG_7967IMG_7941Happy Thursday! I don’t know about y’all, but I feel like I need a vacation badly. I think it’s because my hubby is on a rotation where he goes in before the sun comes up and I feel like during the week I barely see him. It could just be my lack of sleep lately 😉 I am always more creative at night and always seem to wake up at night even if I am exhausted all day!

Anyways, one trend that I jumped on late was the bodysuit. I never in a million years thought they would be flattering, so I never tried one. I also thought they seemed weird until I saw this ruffle off the shoulder one. The ruffles were what spoke to me, so I gave it a chance. Let me just tell you, they are a major game changer!

The thing that I love about bodysuits are they give you the “tucked in” look without having a lot of fabric that gets bunched up. When I wear skirts, it always seems like I am constantly fixing my top, but with a bodysuit it gives you the perfect tucked in appearance.

I have paired my bodysuit with jeans, palazzo pants and skirts. They are so versatile! I have a feeling that I am going to be buying several more in the near future.

What is a trend that you’re loving lately?

  1. Wow! The return of the bodysuit! back in the early 80s I think we wore these. does it snap at the crotch, is that what a bodysuit is? Yes, they are great for wearing with pants in particular because it’s very smooth –it’s like having spanks on from chest through bottom! Might not be so good on me anymore but sure does look cute on you Courtney !

    1. Lynn, it’s so funny how fashion kind of circles around! I LOVE it! Yes, it really is like having Spanxs because it smooths. I have trouble have the smooth look when I try to tuck tops, so this is a great solution! I think they would look great on you <3

  3. Courtney, I love this post! I have been following every single one. The thing that I love about this one is the photography lines of you in black and the black railing. I actually did buy a black bodysuit for myself and have enjoyed it! I did because it is something I had when I first got married so now it’s back again!

    1. Aw thank you so much, Aunt Jac! I really liked the background for this one. Its simple, but does have great lines. I will definitely use it again!
