Dressing Up Jeans

Hey everyone! We’re finally halfway to the weekend. This week has been way better than last, since I’m organized and have been sleeping better. Work has still been stressful though since we’re currently undergoing a lot of change. We are also busy, so I am trying to keep up.

Jake is on the last week of his elective rotations and has really seemed to enjoy them. I cannot tell you how ready I am for him to find out what he matched into. Luckily he will find out in less than a year (March 16,2018). I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! I am hoping it goes by fast. He starts a new rotation on Monday, so I am taking advantage of our time together. I know he will be super busy soon.

It is officially spring as of Monday and we’ve had beautiful weather lately. I’ve had fun dressing for spring. One thing I cannot get enough of lately is my white jeans. I got a new pair at the beginning of the season and they’re my favorites.  I picked up this gorgeous cold shoulder ruffle blouse at Target and have loved it. It is perfect for a date night.

I am all about dressing up, but sometimes it’s nice to just wear jeans, especially when the weather is chilly. I decided to pair this look with these gorgeous chandelier earrings to dress up this look. Statement earrings and heels are always a great way to dress up jeans. It seems like accessories are what make all the difference.

    1. You’re always so kind! Oh girl..I totally think you could pull them off. It’s all about finding the right fit. It took me like 2 years before I found some I was actually comfortable in. I also LOVE wearing mine with a longer tunic sometimes too.

  1. Love this post as usual! Can I just say I Love love love those shoes!!! You are so right they are the absolute best way to dress up a pair of jeans. I wear mine like that with my black skinny jeans too much.

    1. Thanks, girl! It really is so hard to find good white jeans. It took me about 2 years before I found ones I really liked. I got these for a steal, since they were on sale. 7’s are expensive, but if you can find them on sale are so worth it.

  3. I love this look! It’s simple and elegant. I was looking at a pair of that brand of jeans the other day online, but couldn’t decide which size to order. Do you have any comments on how they run size wise or in relation to jeans size at Express?

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! I had a lot of fun with this look. <3
This is the only pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans I own, but they are true to size in my opinion 🙂 I've never tried on Express jeans, but I just bought my regular size in these. Nordstrom online has an option to where you can fill in your information like your hip measurements, waist measurements, jean size in other brands, etc. and it will advise you the best fit. I do this a lot when purchasing online. I got these on sale, so look out for sales. Nordstrom Rack gets a lot of 7's and other great designers. I have noticed with white jeans, the more high end brands are a lot more flattering. It took me about 2 years before I found some I like and it was these. I was glad to find them on sale.

  4. This is fabulous, Courtney! I absolutely love white jeans and believe you are correct. It is all in finding the right fit. These look great on you! Love the top and am so bummed the shoes are sold out! Such a great look.👌💞
    Thank you! Elizabeth

    1. Thank you so much, Elizabeth!! Yes, it really is all about the fit. It took me forever to find ones I liked.

I know, I wish the shoes still were sold. I did link some that are very similar/ that I recommend and I have them in red.
