Happy Wednesday, everyone! Y’all..Daylight Savings Time is definitely getting the best of me. You’re not going to believe what I did on Monday. I planned a nice crock pot meal and prepared this wonderful Hawaiian chicken recipe. I had been looking forward to this recipe all day. When I finally got home after a long day of work, I was looking forward to the smell of amazing hot food. Well…that didn’t happen. Unfortunately, when I got home I was in for a rude awakening. I discovered that I forgot to ever turn the crock pot on! Luckily I had some tortellini to make for my hubby and our neighborhood was having our monthly ladies night. I am glad I got to attend the ladies night and visit with some of my sweet neighbors. It’s such a bummer our nice dinner didn’t turn out, but it worked out in the end. Adulting is hard!
I cannot believe St. Patrick’s Day is this Friday. I am especially excited for it since we will be going down for a wedding weekend for some of our college friends. My hubby and I met at Oklahoma State and we always enjoy getting together with our college friends.
Since Friday is around the corner, I wanted to share how to take your green work look from day to night. The best way to go from day to night is accessories and shoes. I thought it would be fun to style a dress two ways. It’s crazy how a few accessories can change the entire look. Also a little side note, this dress runs small, so I suggest sizing up if you’re in between sizes.
For my day time look, I did over the knee boots and a monogram necklace. The weather is still a little chilly, so boots definitely help keep you warm. Over the knee boots are also more conservative, so they work better for day time. I kept it more simple for the day time look. A monogram necklace is something that is always classic. I wore my favorite Louis Vuitton tote bag to carry my daily essentials.
For night time I decided to glam up my outfit with some fun Valentino dupes and a statement necklace. I paired this look with a smaller purse to dress this up. These shoes are so fun and comfortable.
Which is your favorite way that I styled this outfit?
