Happy Monday! This weekend was very relaxing and much needed. On Friday my sweet hubby grilled steaks, which meant the world to me. I am always the one who cooks in the marriage, so anytime I get a break I take advantage of it. On Saturday I did a lot of work for my blog and then tried a new local pizza restaurant, which was awesome.

By the end of last week, I was feeling super overwhelmed and sleep deprived between working full time and blogging. I was so unorganized, so I made an extra effort to I get extra organized for the week ahead.

Lately I have noticed that red is a color that I’ve been gravitating toward. It’s so bold and vibrant, which is probably why I love it. It isn’t always what I think of for spring, but I love it. To make it more of a spring look, I mix it with white and/or navy.

To make this outfit more springy, I wore this fun red bell sleeve top with white jeans. I also paired it with my new Steve Madden wedges, which are the best Marc Fischer dupes for a fraction of the cost. I got mine for such a good deal since I had a birthday discount coupon, a rewards point coupon, and they were doing a spring promo at the time.

The top has a nice v-neck, so I decided to wear statement earrings instead of a necklace. I ordered these gorgeous earrings and have a feeling I will get a lot of wear out of them.

What did you do this weekend?
