Tomorrow is the big day and, if you’re anything like my husband and I, you’re probably not doing any thing fancy. In fact, we did our celebrating over the weekend because my hubby is too busy to go out on a Tuesday. Jake is on his second to last week of his Neurology rotation, so it’s time to study hard for the final. Our plan is to stay in and I will be making dinner.
Usually Jake wants me to pick the date, but over the weekend the OKC Thunder was playing the Golden State Warriors. If you’re not familiar with basketball (I know I’m not), Kevin Durant used to play for The Thunder and left to play for Golden State. This is his first game back in OKC not being a Thunder player, so it was a very tense game. Unfortunately we lost, but it was still a fun night.
With Valentine’s Day being tomorrow, it’s definitely time to pick your outfit. I’m sharing a recap of my Valentine’s Day outfit posts plus one more casual look.
Jacket: Forever21 Necklace: Target Earrings: Old: Bauble Bar, Similar Sweater:Two by Vince Camuto, Similar, Similar Leggings: Black House White Market, Similar, Similar Shoes: Vince Camuto, Best price here (limited sizing), On Sale here too
I wore this fun outfit to go shopping recently and LOVED it. The blush moto jacket and statement earrings/necklace make it festive for Valentine’s Day. I added leather leggings and black boots to give it a little edge.
Little Red Dress
If we were going on a dressy date, this is absolutely what I would pick. It’s very classic! Full post here.
Classy Floral Midi
If we were going on an in-between date or a brunch date, I would most likely pick this. Full post here.
Pink and Black A-line Skirt
This skirt is one of my favorites in my closet. If I could only pick one Valentine outfit, this would be it. Full post here.
Mixing Shades of Pink
If you’re trying to be different, this is a great pick! Full post here.
Little Black Dress With a Twist
If you’re trying to look classic but with some edge, this would be perfect. Full outfit details here.
