Brunching in Florals

Happy Friday, cheers to the upcoming weekend! Wednesday was my birthday and it was a nice day! It started off with my free Starbucks coffee and that just made my day. It’s funny how the little things can brighten your day! Thank you to everyone for the sweet birthday wishes on Instagram, they made my day! I definitely felt loved!

My sweet husband was on call Tuesday for his Neuro rotation, so he didn’t get much studying done this week. At first he told me we probably couldn’t do a birthday dinner, but he made time to take me to a quick dinner. So sweet! 🙂

Are solid red and pinks for Valentine’s Day boring to you? If so, florals would be a great alternative. I wore this adorable outfit to brunch last Sunday and felt like 1 million bucks. It’s so lady like, yet edgy with the shoes and the top’s neckline. The choker neckline is one trend that I’ve loved this year. It brings me back to my 90’s days when Britney Spears and NSYNC ruled the world.

Although this skirt is sold out, I found a similar one that I like just as much. It’s such a great price already and with code: VAL20, take an extra 20% off of your purchase. This top is still available in limited sizes. If they have your size, get it before it’s gone. I got these shoes as an early birthday gift, and have really enjoyed them.

I am so excited it’s almost the weekend. My parents are coming up to celebrate my birthday and I can’t wait! What do you have planned for the weekend?
